The Ploughman's Poet has blown my mind with its incredible hospitality and breathtaking surroundings. Linda, the amazing host, made me feel like I was coming home after a long day of work. The rural location provided a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. The property was spotlessly clean and had everything I needed, from free wi-fi and a flat-screen TV to an electric kettle and cookware in the fully equipped kitchen. Linda's attention to detail was superb, with freshly made cupcakes waiting for me in the fridge. Her balance between care and privacy was spot on, offering support without being intrusive. The website's information and reviews accurately portrayed the property, but my expectations were exceeded. The cottage was cozy, homely, and immaculately clean. Linda went above and beyond, providing maps and instructions for exploring the local area. The thoughtful touches, like fresh milk, bread, butter, orange juice, and apple juice. The property's beautiful setting, with chickens and Highland cows nearby, added to the charm. The well-behaved dogs coming to say hello were an added bonus. I couldn't fault a single thing about this stunning bungalow. Linda's attention to detail and her hospitality deserve special mention. This is the perfect place to recharge your batteries and experience a home away from home. If you're looking for an unforgettable getaway, don't hesitate to book at The Ploughman's Poet - you won't be disappointed!

We had a fantastic stay at this little home away from home. Linda, our lovely host, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and provided thoughtful touches like fresh coffee, cakes, and flowers. The property was clean, well-equipped, and exceeded our expectations.
The only thing that could have made our stay even better would be if there were a couple of hooks in the bathroom to hang our bath robes.

Had a blast spending Xmas in a cozy cottage! Freshly baked goodies and stocked kitchen were a lovely surprise. Linda, the host, was super helpful and friendly. Great countryside location near charming towns.
No internet access, so no Netflix streaming. But plenty of DVDs and close to local attractions, didn't really miss it.
